Podcast Episode 32: A Thousand Cuts

podcast

Sometimes parts of my system break down. I started to realize that my daily productivity was lagging – that I was dragging tasks from day to day, deleting more than I wanted to , but yet not seeming to make progress.

I realized that it’s because I was having to decide, time after time, what I was going to do every single time I looked at my tasks. It was draining my productivity as surely as a thousand tiny cuts would drain my blood.

My lists were too long, too cluttered and too complex for me to be able to distinguish what I needed to do from moment to moment.

So I needed to revamp my task system.
