The Power Of 15 Minutes
I am a great believer in the power of 15 minutes. I can accomplish more than I thought possible in 15 minutes, while at the same time, 15 minutes is not too long for me to tackle a daunting task. I can do anything for 15 minutes.
Over at LiveDev, Glen wrote an article, The Power of 10 Minutes, where he expounds on the value of 10. He’s got some great reasons on why this small chunk of time is so essential to productivity.
I think it goes further and applies to both simplicity and inner peace. If I am focused on something for 15 minutes, I know I really have to pay attention if I am going to get through it. This non-multi-tasking really helps me focus on what I am doing, and I am able to not be frantic. I can calm myself for 15 minutes and really re-center, and not have taken a huge amount of time out of my day, but still have the lasting effects.
It’s something to think about.
