Gadgets We Love: Milk Foamer

I know I might be calling down ridicule for this one. But I find this gadget indispensable.

A couple of years ago my mother-in-law bought a milk foamer for my birthday. Pour some milk into a cup (skim is best) and press the button, and soon you have a cup of frothy milk that rivals anything a coffee shop could put out.

I have a problem drinking milk. Being lactose intolerant, drinking a glass of milk all at once is out of the question. So my only source of milk is what I put in my coffee. And foaming it makes it possible.

I currently have two foamers. The one at home, (similar to Aerolatte Milk Frother, Satin Finish), (aff) is rechargeable.

My latest I bought at IKEA, and it works like a champ. I keep it at work, and it was inexpensive enough that I won’t be upset if it disappears.
